The aim has always been to produce unique wines from the privileged Douro region, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The grape varieties are native to the region, but the winemaking technology is French. ROQUETTE \u0026amp; CAZES is the second wine from this project. Its philosophy is based on the teachings it received from its older brother, XISTO – ROQUETTE \u0026amp; CAZES. It is equally elegant, refined and has a deep mouthfeel. The biggest difference is that it can be aged for longer, with the aim of being more ready to drink when it is released onto the market. Excellent freshness and aromatic projection, with well-integrated red fruits and soft spicy notes standing out. A wine of great elegance, which begins in the mouth in a very harmonious way, evolving into a wine of excellent volume and structure composed of velvety tannins.
