Giz by Luís Gomes

Originating in Bairrada, between the foothills of the Buçaco Mountains and the sea, Giz is born, a wine that uniquely expresses the characteristics of the limestone soils from which it comes. Originating from centuries-old vineyards, from native grape varieties planted in poor, stony soils, the raw material here is scarce but extremely precious. Produced in total commitment to nature, intervention in the natural process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the winery. The end result is unmasked, authentic, structured, elegant and complex wines, full of individuality and character.
