El Enemigo

El Enemigo is the passion project of two Argentine friends that has gained a cult following. Alejandro Vigil is a soil expert and renowned winemaker who for years ran the operations at Bodega Catena Zapata, the estate of Adrianna Catena’s father, the legendary Nicolás Catena Zapata. Adrianna is a historian and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Oxford. El Enemigo was created with the goal of producing a wine that respects history and tradition while rejecting the status quo. The wines use ancestral production techniques, combined with the latest technology, to preserve the authenticity of the wines and highlight the unique characteristics of each terroir.
