Niepoort Vinhos

Six generations have been responsible for writing the history of the Niepoort family since 1842 to the present day. What they have in common is a passion for wine, a passion that respects tradition but is not afraid to venture down new paths whenever the irreverent flower of creativity is called upon to blossom. Dirk is the current leader of the family, who inherited from his father Rolf the challenge of “innovating while maintaining good traditions”. Nothing for which he was not cut out, or else this member of the fifth generation of the family was not a born curious person: attentive to everything that happens around him, Dirk recognizes when a unique opportunity knocks on his door and acts without hesitation. Inevitably, all the wines that bear the Niepoort insignia are a reflection of the bold and deep-rooted spirit of the family. In each glass there is a well-defined terroir , an amazement that seduces all who are curious and a deep respect for nature and for the hands of the men and women who dedicated themselves so that in each bottle there is always more than just a wine.
