Quinta de Tourais

Quinta de Tourais, located in the Douro, has belonged to the Coelho family for three generations. Until 1999, all of the grapes produced on the farm were sold to an exporting company for the production of Port wine. The first wines began to be produced in 1999. The focus is entirely on traditional Douro grape varieties, which, due to their richness and variety, produce unique wines with the personality of the land from which they originate. The passion that is imbued throughout the entire process, from monitoring the land and the plant to the final product, can be felt in the unique character of the wines and can also be seen in the importance that the producer attaches to image. He always seeks to combine the most valuable learnings that traditional production provides with the innovative techniques and technologies of the moment.
