Quinta dos Termos

Located at the source of the Serra da Estrela, in Belmonte, Quinta dos Termos is a historic producer in Beira Interior. Family-owned since 1945, it is the headquarters of J. Carvalho Family Estates. It currently has around 60 hectares of vineyards planted in granite soils, at an average altitude of 500 metres, and grows 18 red grape varieties, such as Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Rufete, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Marufo, Tinto Cão, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and 6 white varieties, such as Fonte Cal, Síria, Arinto, Verdelho and Riesling. The winery is equipped with sophisticated technology, follows traditional techniques and is certified in Integrated Production, contributing to the preservation of sustainability.
