Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Vineyards located in Lavre, 15 years old. The Mediterranean climate provides a high temperature range, and the transitional clay-to-sand soils of this extreme Alentejo region allow, despite low productivity, the creation of conditions for a ripening with great aromatic expression and retention of freshness. Hand-harvested from this batch, transported in small 12 kg boxes to the winery.
  • Winemaking: The selected bunches from the vineyard are destemmed and transported by gravity to a small lagar (traditional stone trough) where they are bled and pressed in an open trough in a vertical press lined with used wood. It is then cold-settled for 48 hours and, after clarification, ferments at a controlled temperature for 10 to 12 days in stainless steel vats.
  • Tasting Notes: A rosé with a copper hue, where the aromas highlight fresh red fruit with a touch of candied fruit, in a slightly evolving profile with great physical presence, finishing with great finesse and elegance. A rosé of the year, far from the terrace.
  • Maturation: Aged in the bottle for 6 months.
  • Serve: Between 7ºC and 9ºC
