Ipiranga Douro Red is a wine with an intense ruby ​​colour. Its aroma is very expressive, with notes of ripe red fruits, liquorice and a slight hint of balsam from its ageing in barrels. It is intense on the palate, with fully integrated tannins and very balanced acidity.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Grapes from 5 plots, located in 4 different vineyards, in the three sub-regions of the Douro. In this way, a balance was sought between the different exposures, altitudes and grape varieties.
  • Winemaking:
  • Tasting Notes: Intense ruby colour. Very expressive aroma, with notes of ripe red fruits, liquorice and a slight balsamic hint from barrel ageing. Intense on the palate, with fully integrated tannins and very balanced acidity.
  • Maturation: Aged for 16 months in used French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 15ºC and 17ºC

  • Conservation: If stored in the best conditions, it evolves positively in the bottle for a minimum of 20 years.
