The Legado do Zeca Curtimenta is an amber-yellow wine. On the nose, it presents a very concentrated aroma of ripe white fruit and peach, with elegant notes of bay leaf and ginger wrapped in balsamic notes. On the palate, it is enveloping, with lots of texture and salinity, and extremely complex with a delicate and endless finish.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Single old vineyard, low production and only with indigenous Douro grape varieties, with more than 30 different varieties. Northern exposure, high altitude vineyard.
  • Winemaking: The harvest took place under ideal atmospheric conditions, in the first week of September. The grapes were duly selected, and the fermentation process with temperature control took place over 20 days in skin maceration subject to total fermentation.
  • Tasting Notes: Wine of amber yellow color. On the nose it presents a very concentrated aroma of ripe white fruit and peach. On the palate it is enveloping with lots of texture and salinity and extremely complex with a delicate and endless finish.
  • Maturation: Aged in used French oak barrels for 18 months.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 14ºC
