Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Deep granite soils poor in organic matter. Old vineyard at an altitude of 400 metres in the Arcossó area, between Vidago and Chaves.
  • Winemaking: Grapes are hand-picked without separating the white, red or pink varieties into 25 kg jugs. They are then crushed and destemmed to ferment in 1000-litre vats where they spend 2 days in pre-fermentation maceration and are then trodden on foot for gentle extraction. Fermentation then begins in contact with the grapes for 5 days without exhausting the sugars, with the solid parts being separated before the sugars have even finished degrading to avoid excessive extraction by the alcohol.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby color, deep aroma with notes of resin, fresh black fruit with white pepper and rockrose, good entry, broad with good acidity and high gastronomic potential.
  • Maturation: Aged for 14 months in used 600L French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
  • Winemaker: Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes
  • Conservation: With longevity until 2028.
  • Food Pairing: Poultry, grilled meats, fish, cheeses and salads.
