Maçanita Letra F 2023

Maçanita Letra F is a fresh and lively wine on the palate, with a well-marked acidity, showing the intensity and concentration of aromas from the old vines. It has a light ruby ​​colour, and the aroma has mineral notes, white flowers and red fruit. “I would also advise those who plant vineyards for red wine not to completely exclude a small portion of some white grape variety from them, (...) as it is a fact, confirmed by highly authoritative winegrowers, that red wines resulting from the blending of red grapes with a small fraction (1/10) of white grapes, are always superior to those produced exclusively by red grapes.” Visconde de Villa Maior, 1875, Practical Viticulture Manual.
