Quinta de Arcossó Red is a wine that has a spicy aroma, with pepper, balsamic notes from the barrel, as well as in the mouth. Fresh, good volume. Very gastronomic.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Plot of 10.5 hectares, part of a group of 12 hectares, of new vineyards (planted in 2003), installed on a wide slope of medium altitude (375 meters), exposed to the south, with a gradient of approximately 20%. Soil of granite origin.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were harvested on September 29th and October 7th and vinified in a wine press with foot treading.
  • Tasting Notes: Spicy aroma, with pepper, balsamic notes from the barrel, as well as in the mouth. Fresh, good volume. Very gastronomic.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels. After bottling, they remained in the cellar for 6 months. Wine not fined or filtered.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC. It should be decanted 1 hour before serving.
  • Winemaker: Francisco Montenegro and Amílcar Salgado
  • Conservation: Storage lying down at a temperature of 15ºC.
  • Food Pairing: Red meat and, when 10 years old or older, a soft cheese.
