Quinta Vale d'Aldeia Sauvignon Blanc is a wine that was produced from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety located in the Meda region, in the Douro Superior, at an altitude of approximately 550 metres. With a clear, citrus-yellow colour, it has tropical notes. In the mouth, it is very gastronomic with citrus notes and a very fresh and mineral finish.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Produced from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety located in the Meda region, in the Douro Superior, at an altitude of approximately 550 meters.
  • Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by variety and plots in 20 kg boxes. Once completely destemmed, they are crushed. The must is then gently pressed and decanted until it reaches the required clarity. It ferments at a temperature of between 15ºC and 16ºC in a tank for around 3 weeks in order to enhance the primary aromas. The wine is then fined before being bottled.
  • Tasting Notes: With a clear, citrus yellow colour, it has tropical notes. In the mouth it is very gastronomic with citrus notes and a very fresh and mineral finish.
