The Herdade do Papa Leite Religiosamente Guardado has a garnet colour. On the nose it presents black fruit, very ripe plums, spices, with a complex finish with notes of dried fruits. On the palate it is very balanced, with acidity, which gives it excellent freshness. A very balanced wine, incredibly fresh and voluminous.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: The grapes come from a vineyard in clay soil.
  • Winemaking: Manual harvest, with the grapes transported in 10 kg boxes to avoid crushing. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats for three weeks, with a controlled fermentation temperature of 24ºC.

  • Maturation: Aged for 2 years in French oak barrels and 8 years in the bottle.
