Joaquim Costa Vargas Reserva is a wine with a bright and intense ruby ​​color. It has an intense, complex and captivating aroma, with notes of ripe fruit, jams and dark chocolate.   • Soil: Produced at Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, from carefully selected and hand-harvested grapes of the Trincadeira, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet varieties.
  • Winemaking: Pre-fermentation maceration of 72 hours at controlled temperature. Vinified in lagares using the traditional process of complete fermentation, with blanket submersion and fermentation temperatures of 30ºC. De-lastage and pumping over with aeration. Post-fermentation maceration with temperature control. ML fermentation in barrels.
