Herdade do Menir

In 2012, Herdade do Menir was acquired by an Algarve family who took over the management of the estate and all its brands. In this context, a new range of wines emerged, which stand out for their quality – Barão Rodrigues Reserva Red and White. The Barão Rodrigues family is committed to dedicating all their passion to producing a quality wine, based on all the wisdom and tradition of the Alentejo. The winery was built in 1990 and since then it has undergone successive changes aimed at expanding and modernizing it, in order to meet the increase in production and the growing demand for the house wines, as well as the company's ambition to improve the quality of its wines.
