Monte Bluna

Monte Bluna began its journey with the purchase of a small vineyard over 40 years old. Since then, it has worked hard to develop top-quality wines in an ancient region with a grand epithet but forgotten memory: Arruda dos Vinhos. It currently operates 6 hectares of vineyards, all at altitude, flanked by the Atlantic and the Tagus, and is developing a unique winemaking project on sedimentary soils from the Jurassic period. From the beginning, Monte Bluna has sought out exceptional vineyards, giving them expression, balance, time and voice. The project aims to recover the former excellence of the Arruda DOC, which had not been recognised in recent decades. Monte Bluna sets out from the land to constantly prove itself, also investing in altitude, in new hills never before explored, to do something very old with modernity and difference.
