Quinta do Vale da Perdiz

The result of strong dedication, hard work and constant learning, this winemaking project was created in 1989 by António Augusto Fernandes. With an area of 50 hectares, spread across six estates, Quinta do Vale da Perdiz boasts some of the best national and traditional grape varieties from the Douro Superior region. Cistus wines come from these grape varieties, namely Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Arinto, Fernão Pires and Rabigato. Produced using excellent winemaking methods and techniques, Cistus wines combine a modern and appealing style with a unique terroir .
