Druida Red Wine 2021 is a true jewel from the Dão region, crafted with an artisan touch and a history of dedication. Sourced from vines approximately 30 years old, planted in granite soils at high altitude, this wine is a unique expression of the land and climate that nourish it. Only two 228-liter barrels were produced, quietly aging for 20 months in a dark and calm environment, which bestowed upon the wine a refined and delicate personality.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Granitic soils, with clay.
  • Winemaking: Manual harvest into 20 kg boxes with rigorous selection of the grapes. Foot treading in traditional granite presses. Fermentation occurred naturally, only with indigenous yeasts and with temperature control.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby-colored wine, it reveals notes of cocoa, spices, cherry, gunpowder, and a delicate vegetal freshness. The palate shows great elegance and structure, with silky and enveloping tannins. The unique combination of elegance and power offered by the Dão region is evident in this wine.
  • Maturation: It was aged for 22 months in used French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
