Expressing the Alentejo through a Fitapreta Red wine. Made from typical Alentejo grape varieties, the winemaking intervention is practically non-existent, enhancing the true aromas and flavours of the region. Concentrated violet colour. Intense nose of fresh black fruits with hints of dried grass. Full, full-bodied, rich and delicious attack with notes of toffee and a finish revealing firm and round tannins.

  • Soil: The grapes come from top-quality vineyards in the Alentejo region, in the south of Portugal. Agriculture is sustainable, production is controlled and quality is improved by removing secondary branches and pruning bunches. The vines are grown in very poor soils of schist or granite origin, naturally producing very concentrated grapes. The aromatic profile is further enhanced by cultural practices such as defoliation, topping and weeding of green bunches.
  • Winemaking: Selective manual harvest in 20 kg boxes. Selection on a sorting table. Vats filled by gravity. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. 15-day storage.
