Ovelha Negra Grande Reserva Red is a wine with a concentrated ruby ​​color. On the nose it is intense and deep, with notes of wild berries, blackcurrant and blueberry, ripe plum and dark chocolate. On the palate it is broad, voluminous, full-bodied and with a marked presence of tannins. A wine with great intensity but which reveals great elegance.

  • Soil: Produced at Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, from grapes of the Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet varieties, carefully selected and harvested by hand.
  • Winemaking: Harvested in 12kg boxes followed by bunch selection in the winery. The grapes were destemmed with light crushing. Pre-fermentation maceration of 48 hours at controlled temperature.
  • Tasting Notes: Wine with a concentrated ruby color. On the nose it is intense and deep, with notes of wild berries, blackcurrants and blueberries, ripe plums and dark chocolate. On the palate it is broad, voluminous, full-bodied and with a marked presence of tannins. A wine with great intensity but which reveals great elegance.
  • Maturation: Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
