Tangente Red is a wine with an aroma of very ripe red fruits, with notes of vanilla, balanced and well integrated with the wood. Some notes of sweet or macerated black fruit. Jam, plum and some spice. On the palate it is velvety, round and soft, rich and “greedy”. A very pleasant and intense, but balanced combination. With a good tannin structure, although soft, and balanced acidity.

  • Soil: Produced at Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, from carefully selected and hand-harvested Aragonês grapes.
  • Winemaking: Vinified in lagares using the traditional complete fermentation process, with blanket submersion and fermentation temperatures of 22ºC. Cold maceration for 48 hours. Delastage and pumping over with aeration.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby color with violet hues. Aroma of very ripe red fruits, with notes of vanilla, balanced and well integrated with the wood. Some notes of sweet or macerated black fruit. Jam, plum and some spice. On the palate it is velvety, round and soft, rich and “greedy”. Very pleasant and intense, but balanced. With a good tannin structure, although smooth, and balanced acidity.
  • Maturation: Partial aging in 225 lt. French and American oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 17ºC and 18ºC
