Rosé Vulcânico is a light pink wine with hints of cherry, with a very intense nose of ripe strawberry, combined with notes of iodine and black pepper. The palate is surprising: it is textured, saline, but fresh, with the salts lingering and stinging the palate.

  • Soil: Wines of volcanic origin, where the soils, poor and stony, defy the very definition of agricultural soil. In this almost “mother rock”, in the middle of the Atlantic and at the base of the highest mountain in Portugal.
  • Winemaking: Selective manual harvest in 40kg baskets. The bunches are carefully selected on a sorting table and then the grapes are gently crushed and transported to the fermentation tanks without the help of pumps.
  • Tasting Notes: Light pink in color, with hints of cherry, it has a very intense nose of ripe strawberry, combined with notes of iodine and black pepper. In the mouth it is surprising: it is textured, saline, but fresh, with the salts lingering and stinging the palate.
  • Maturation: They are left to macerate in fermentation vats for between 3 and 6 hours at a low temperature and the resulting sangria ferments spontaneously at 12ºC in order to maintain all of its aromatic potential.
  • Serve: Between 11ºC and 13ºC
