A 100% Alicante White, unique in Portugal, is a trial of a variety exclusive to Portugal and unique in the world. This wine tests the potential of one of the oldest varieties of the Alentejo grapevine, which with the modernization of viticulture almost disappeared. Citrus-yellow color, intense nose, notes of grapefruit, peach and gunpowder. Full-bodied attack, excellent unctuousness and persistence.

  • Soil: The grapes come from a 51-year-old vineyard, at an altitude of between 256 and 267 metres, on non-humic granite-litholic soils of granite origin. These soils are poorly developed, formed, sandy in texture, without aggregates, and slightly acidic.
  • Winemaking: The grapes are picked between 3 and 4 am, direct pressed, without sulphites until the end of fermentation, without decantation and spontaneous fermentation of 40% in old barrels, and controlled fermentation of 60% in stainless steel.
  • Tasting Notes: Citrus yellow color, intense nose, notes of grapefruit, peach and gunpowder. Full-bodied attack, excellent unctuousness and persistence.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months on primary lees without bâtonnage.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 12ºC
