Maçanita Folgasão dos Dois 2022

The Maçanita Folgasão dos Dois is a bright yellow wine. It has a fresh and intense nose. A citrus Folgasão like we have never seen before, in its purest form, where the minerality and acidity are accentuated. In the mouth it is tense and deep. It is not easy to keep up with the diversity of Portuguese grape varieties, there are more than 250 in total and it becomes even more complicated when their names change between regions. The Folgasão went from here to the Zarco Islands, and there it gained fame as Terrantez. This is the Terrantez that is the Folgasão of the Douro, at altitude and that shows a pure, mineral and fresh side of the grape variety. A Folgasão like we have never tasted before. A Folgasão that is not from Joana or António. It is the Folgasão of the two!
