Contador de Estórias Red is a provocative blend of Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Petit Verdot grape varieties. Aged in French and American oak, it is elegant, silky and has a fantastic aroma of ripe fruit. A luxurious choice that is easy to drink. Prepare your stories… Where temperatures range from 11ºC in January to 28ºC in August, with low levels of rainfall, Palmela is undoubtedly a unique place for the production of excellent wines.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: The grapes come from a vineyard on sandy soil.
  • Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel vats with prolonged skin maceration of 3 weeks.
  • Tasting Notes: Concentrated garnet color. Aroma with notes of ripe black fruit, spices and some leather. A full-bodied wine with good acidity, present but elegant tannins. Long and persistent finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months. 30% of the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels, the remaining 70% in stainless steel.
  • Serve: Between 17ºC and 18ºC
