Named after the place where it all began, Pomar Espírito Santo wine offers an incredible journey of taste to Estremadura. A full-bodied and extremely elegant red, with aromas of ripe fruit and jams. The combination of flavors is combined with a more complex character of spices and good structure, resulting from aging in French and American oak barrels.

  • Soil: The grapes come from a vineyard in clay-limestone soil.
  • Winemaking: Total destemming, fermentation for 8 days, in stainless steel, with temperature control. Post-fermentation maceration.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby color. Delicate and complex. The elegant fruity aroma of cassis blends harmoniously with the spicy aromas that add aromatic complexity. Captivating harmony between structure, unctuousness and aromas. Good acidity provides freshness and promotes longevity. The tannins, elegant and well-present, give the wine a “dialogue-like” character.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels for 30% of the wine, with the remaining 70% aged in stainless steel vats, followed by a further 6 months in the bottle.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
