Ode Touriga Nacional is made with 100% of a grape variety ideal for the Tejo region. It ripens late and the warm climate is very favourable. The carefully selected grapes were cold macerated before being trodden by foot in stone presses, to allow for gentle micro-oxidation. 30% of this wine was aged in new 500L French oak barrels for 4 months. Vibrant and deep purple colour, with soft nuances of plum and blackberry, spicy, earthy and a little woodsy. This wine highlights the aromatic characters of the grape variety.
