  • Soil: Touriga Nacional, the majority grape variety in our vineyard, grows on slopes between 350 and 400 metres above sea level. The vineyard is managed under an integrated protection programme, and the use of herbicides is prohibited. The grapes are harvested manually when they reach optimum ripeness, which is in the second half of August. The grapes are harvested in small 10 kg boxes.
  • Winemaking: Fermentation of the must at low temperatures, 15ºC, obtained from the direct pressing of the encruzado grapes. The second fermentation is carried out according to the champagne method, with free yeasts and the respective aging on fine lees for 18 months.
  • Tasting Notes: Fine and sophisticated with red fruits and raspberry. Salmon hue with fine and persistent bubbles. Dense, structured with balanced and social acidity.
  • Maturation: Aged for 18 months on fine lees.
  • Serve: Between 6ºC and 8ºC
