Rosé dos Villões is a wine with an open ruby-pink color. Intense nose, notes of crushed fresh strawberries, some vegetables. Fresh, crisp attack, present acidity, with excellent salinity. Great persistence.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Age of the vines: around 40 years. Location: 50% Estreito de Câmara de Lobos - south side of Madeira Island and 50% São Vicente - north side of the Island.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were harvested manually and selected on a sorting table. Destemming without crushing followed by pressing. Decanting after 24 hours, and fermentation in stainless steel at 14-16ºC. Aged on lees for 6 months.
  • Tasting Notes: Open ruby-pink color. Intense nose, notes of crushed fresh strawberry, some vegetable. Fresh, crunchy attack, present acidity, with excellent salinity. Great persistence.
  • Maturation: Aged on lees for 6 months.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 12ºC
  • Winemaker: Antonio Maçanita

  • Food Pairing: Ideal partner for fish, seafood and salad dishes. It has volume and structure for white meat dishes. Perfect for Indian, Thai and sushi food.
