  • Soil: The grapes come from a vineyard that is over 100 years old, where Arinto dos Açores dominates, but there are also Verdelho, Boal (Malvasia Fina) and white Alicante (Boal de Alicante).
  • Winemaking: Hand-harvested, selection on a sorting table, direct press, decanted for 12 hours cold.
  • Tasting Notes: Citrus-straw yellow color, aroma of iodine, salt and lime blossom. In the mouth, a dense, concentrated attack, acidity cuts through the middle and lasts until the end of the tasting. The salt and iodine are a “slap” from the sea.
  • Maturation: First presses vinified in stainless steel in horizontal tanks, 2nd presses fermented in 3-year-old French oak barrels, without batônnage for 9 months.
  • Serve: Between 11ºC and 13ºC
