Quinta da Rede Reserva White is a wine with a defined citrus colour with abundant greenish tones. Quite fragrant, intense, reminiscent of orange blossom, apricot and some tropical fruit, alongside smoky notes from the barrel that lend complexity to the whole. It is full-bodied and creamy, but without losing its lightness and finesse. Hints of lemonade give it plenty of freshness and prolong the finish.

  • Soil: The vineyard has complex schist-graywatic soils worked on traditional terraces, on steep slopes next to the Douro River, giving the wines unique characteristics of minerality, freshness and elegance.
  • Winemaking: Manual selection of grapes on a sorting mat at the entrance to the winery. Gentle pneumatic pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks at a temperature of 15ºC.
  • Tasting Notes: Defined citrus color with abundant greenish tones. Quite fragrant, intense, reminiscent of orange blossom, apricot, some tropical fruit, alongside smoky notes from the barrel that lend complexity to the whole. It is full-bodied and creamy, but without losing lightness and finesse. Hints of lemonade give it plenty of freshness and prolong the finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 6 months in barrels, with weekly removal (“battonage”). End of alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels: 20% new, 80% used.
