  • Soil: Plot of 10.5 hectares, part of a group of 12 hectares, of new vineyards (planted in 2003), installed on a wide slope of medium altitude (375 meters), exposed to the south, with a gradient of approximately 20%. Soil of granite origin
  • Winemaking: The grapes were harvested on September 29th and October 8th and vinified in a wine press with foot treading.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby color. Strongly spiced and slowly transforming into jelly, abundant ripe fruit and extreme freshness. Long, persistent and very dry finish. Reveals the harshness of the terroir.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months in new and used French oak barrels. After bottling, they remained in the cellar for 16 months. Wine not fined or filtered.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC. It should be decanted 1 hour before serving.
  • Winemaker: Francisco Montenegro and Amílcar Salgado
  • Conservation: Storage lying down at a temperature of 15ºC.
  • Food Pairing: Red meat and, after 10 or more years, a soft cheese.
