  • Soil: They made this wine from a selection of the best grapes from Casa Agrícola Manuel Joaquim Caldeira.
  • Winemaking: Hand-picked. Gentle pressing of whole bunches. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. Partial fermentation in new fine-grain French oak barrels followed by ageing with stirring of the fine lees.
  • Tasting Notes: Intense and complex aroma of white fruits balanced by the aging in barrels and with a mineral touch, with the Freixenista character of the Douro Superior.
  • Maturation: Aged for 18 months in French (2/3) and American (1/3) oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 12ºC
