  • Soil: The grapes come from different plots of vineyards at Quinta Vale d'Aldeia, located in the Meda region, at an altitude of around 450m. East facing and with very schist soil.
  • Winemaking: The Quinta Vale d'Aldeia Red grapes are hand-harvested into 20 kg boxes at their ideal point of ripeness, leading to greater aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and complete destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats, allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of the ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine.
  • Tasting Notes: Intense red color and very concentrated on the nose with aromas of very ripe red fruits, wild berries and black cherries with hints of wood. The palate is elegant with good acidity and velvety tannins resulting in a structured and harmonious wine.
  • Maturation: Aged for 14 months in 400L French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
