Gran Enemigo Gualtallary has a bright pomegranate red colour. The aroma is rich and powerful with great aromatic complexity, of ripe black fruit, black cherry, chocolate, coffee and truffles. The palate is very well balanced, the fruit amplified to its highest level. Its blend of Cabernet Franc and Malbec gives the wine a fascinating dynamism with an extraordinary finish of truffle and white pepper.

  • Soil: Located in Gualtallary, Tupungato. Vineyard with high density (10,000 plants per hectare) at an altitude of 1,470 meters. Cabernet Franc: limestone and rocky soils. Malbec: deep limestone and rocky soils.
  • Winemaking: Fermentation in barrels, average temperature of 22ºC. Cold maceration for 5 days. Average maceration of 23 days. 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels. Five different harvest seasons (1.5 months between the first and last).
  • Tasting Notes: Bright pomegranate red in color. The aroma is rich and powerful with great aromatic complexity, of ripe black fruit, black cherry, chocolate, coffee and truffles. The palate is very well balanced, the fruit amplified to its highest level.
