Quinta da Rede Vinha da Seara is a wine with a bright ruby ​​colour, without being excessively concentrated, as is typical of reds from traditional 'field blend' vineyards.   • Soil: Located on the slopes of Marão, at an altitude of 450 meters, Vinha da Seara is a traditional Douro vineyard, with a great mix of regional grape varieties.
  • Winemaking: Harvest of mixed grapes, in "field blend". Total destemming, and prolonged skin maceration. Alcoholic fermentation in robotic presses with temperature control at 26ºC for 10 days.
  • Tasting Notes: Bright ruby colour, without being excessively concentrated, as is typical of reds from traditional "field blend" vineyards. Intense but fine, with high-quality red fruit and also notes of wet earth, rockrose and spices. Focused on elegance and delicacy, with present but polished tannins, a silky texture and immense freshness and sophistication.
  • Maturation: Aged for 14 months in new 300-liter French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 17ºC and 18ºC
  • Winemaker: Paulo Nunes
  • Conservation: The excellent balance between body, alcohol, tannins and, above all, acidity, ensures that this red wine will continue to grow in the bottle for at least 20 years.
  • Food Pairing: Pairs well with more elaborate dishes based on lean meats, such as chicken or veal.
