  • Soil: Vineyard with clayey and schist soil.
  • Winemaking: Alicante Bouschet is harvested as late as possible in order to obtain the richness of the fruit and the ripe, powerful tannins that are characteristic of wines made with this variety in Alto Alentejo. The prolonged maceration, followed by a 14-month aging in barrels, brought out the full richness of the variety.
