  • Soil: Touriga Nacional is a native Portuguese grape variety from the Dão region. This variety with high oenological potential and impressive size is cultivated within an integrated protection program, and the application of herbicides is prohibited. The grapes are harvested manually when they reach optimum ripeness, which is in the first half of September. The grapes are harvested in small 10 kg boxes.
  • Winemaking: This wine is obtained after direct pressing of Touriga Nacional red grapes. All alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 13ºC. It is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which is new.
  • Tasting Notes: Salmon hue. Complex aroma, well-integrated wood with red fruit standing out among the honeyed aromas. The palate follows the nose, with volume, structure and an elegant finish. Nélita is gastronomic, dense and structured.
  • Maturation: Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
