Caracol dos Profetas is a wine with an open pale yellow color. Intense, fresh nose, floral notes, combined with profiles of iodine and gunpowder. Fresh, crisp attack with great freshness and acidity. Excellent for fresh dishes, ceviches, carpaccios, oysters, clams and leaner grilled fish.

Soil: The grapes come from traditional low-growing vines, close to the ground and protected from strong winds by reed beds or crochet walls. Over 80 years old. Calcareous soils with a sandy loam texture and a pH>8.5.
Winemaking: The grapes were harvested manually on Saturday, August 14, on the island of Porto Santo and loaded onto a refrigerated truck for transport by boat to the island of Madeira (since winemaking is not legal on Porto Santo). At 11 pm, they were selected on a sorting table and pressed whole bunches into decantation tanks inside a refrigerated container, with three pressing fractions being separated, without any use of SO2.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow color. Intense, fresh nose, floral notes, combined with iodine and gunpowder profiles. Fresh, crisp attack with great freshness and acidity. Excellent for fresh dishes, ceviches, carpaccios, oysters, clams and leaner grilled fish.
Maturation: Fermentation in stainless steel vats lying on lees, with a capacity between 250L and 1000L, where they were aged for just 3 months and then bottled in order to retain all their aromatic potential.
Serve: Between 9ºC and 11ºC
