Sátiro Clandestino Red is a wine with a ruby colour with intense violet hues and an aroma of ripe red fruits. The exuberant fruit, strength and youth revealed on the nose, are reminiscent of artisanal Alentejo wines from clay amphorae. Some notes of black fruit and spices. Jams and ripe fruit reminiscent of plums. The palate is velvety, round and smooth, rich and “gluttonous”, with “mineral” marks left by the clay of its origin. An intense and powerful yet balanced combination. With a good structure of firm tannins and balanced acidity.

Amphorae batch vinified using the most ancient process, cloned from the Roman method used in the Alentejo for over two thousand years. Completely artisanal process, complete fermentation, amphorae filled manually. Vinification with stalks without the use of selected yeasts and without fermentation control. Long post-fermentation maceration, respecting the “traditional amphora wine” process. “Largar inox” batch, with blanket submersion and fermentation temperatures of 30ºC. Cold maceration for 48 hours.
