  • Soil: The grapes come from a vineyard in rocky soils that defy the very definition of agricultural soil. By the sea, where nothing else could grow, the grapes ripened as much as the brave Azorean climate allowed.
  • Winemaking: Selective manual harvest in 20kg baskets, selection on a sorting table, entry into the tank by gravity without the use of pumps.
  • Tasting Notes: Open ruby color, nose with notes of alcoholic cherry, iodine and hints of clove. In the mouth it is fresh, medium texture with lots of salinity and fine tannins.
