  • Soil: The grapes come from a centuries-old vineyard, with rugged slopes and rough soil.
  • Winemaking:
  • Tasting Notes: Deep colour. Notes of violets, eucalyptus, varnish and black plums. Deep, complex, but always with freshness and great elegance. The palate is full of fresh fruit, liquorice and spice. Enveloping, dense, but with remarkable harmony and balance.
  • Maturation: Aged for 15 months in new and 2-year-old French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC. Decant 1 hour before serving.
  • Winemaker: Tiago Alves de Souza
  • Conservation: 15 to 20 years
  • Food Pairing: Pairs well with meat stews, grilled veal, oven-roasted duck, cured and seasoned cheeses.
