  • Soil:
  • Winemaking: Vinified in the Quinta da Leda winery, using grapes from existing plots on the estate that are fully ripe, leading to greater aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After complete destemming and gentle crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel vats or wine presses, where maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place. Maceration is adapted to each variety, using temperature control and pumping over according to the qualitative characteristics of each one.
  • Tasting Notes: Deep ruby colour and intense, very complex aroma. • Maturation: After the final fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used) for a period of approximately 18 months. The final blend is made based on the selection resulting from numerous organoleptic tests and analyses carried out during this period. In order to preserve the highest quality, it is only subjected to a light filtration before bottling. As it is not stabilised by cold, it is natural for deposits to form during ageing in the bottle.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
  • Winemaker: Luis Sottomayor
  • Conservation: Due to its characteristics, it can be consumed immediately, although it benefits from maturing in the bottle for between 3 and 5 years, reaching its peak at approximately 10 years of age, but remaining in perfect condition for consumption for around 20 years.
  • Food Pairing: Meat, game and cheese dishes.
  • Bottle Size: 75cl
  • Allergens: Contains sulfites
