Quinta da Rede Reserva Rosé is a very fine and elegant wine, with delicate hints of wild strawberries and raspberries, mineral notes of flint, and discreet smoke to add complexity. Very expressive, with red fruit surrounded by firm and crisp acidity. Light, but at the same time intense, dry, with plenty of freshness and balance in the long finish.

  • Soil: The vineyard has complex schist-graywatic soils worked on traditional terraces, on steep slopes next to the Douro River, giving the wines unique characteristics of minerality, freshness and elegance.
  • Winemaking: Total destemming, very gentle pneumatic pressing, using only the drop must. Half fermented in stainless steel at 15ºC, half in new French oak barrels. In both cases, the fine lees were stirred post-fermentation.
  • Tasting Notes: Salmon color. Very expressive aroma, with red fruit surrounded by firm and crisp acidity. Light, but at the same time intense, dry, with plenty of freshness and balance in the long finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 6 months, 50% in new French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 11ºC and 12ºC
  • Winemaker: Paulo Nunes
  • Conservation: Keep the bottle in a cool place, away from direct light. It can age well for 6 or 7 years.
  • Food Pairing: Seafood with sauce, elaborate fish dishes, pasta with clams or shrimp, exotic oriental cuisine.
