Xaino Red is a wine with an intense and deep red color. On the nose it is very fresh and fruity with notes of wild berries, black cherries and spices. On the palate it is very concentrated with good acidity, soft tannins and a long and persistent finish.

  • Soil: The grapes come from different plots of vineyards at Quinta Vale d'Aldeia, located in the Meda region, at an altitude of around 450m. East facing and with very schist soil.
  • Winemaking: The grapes are hand-picked into 20 kg boxes at their ideal point of ripeness, with the aim of ensuring that they are fully ripe, leading to greater aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and complete destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats, allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of the ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine.
  • Tasting Notes: It has an intense and deep red color. On the nose it is very fresh and fruity with notes of wild berries, black cherries and spices. The palate is very concentrated with good acidity and soft tannins. Long and persistent finish.
