Tintafina is a wine with an intense, clear, garnet red colour. Intense nose with aromas of wild berry jam and notes of aromatic herbs such as thyme and sage, wrapped in spicy tones and toasted notes from its ageing in French oak barrels. On the palate, it is very powerful, structured and elegant with a long finish. The maturation of the black fruit means its nuances envelop the palate with notes of fruit. The structure of the tannins from the French oak fixes this wine in the finish, giving it a persistence that makes it linger. Slightly spicy and fresh finish.

  • Soil: 100% Tinto Fino, from the towns of Villálvaro, Sotillo de la Ribera, Moradillo, Hontoria, Peñafiel, Quintana del Pidio, Anguix and Curiel de Duero. Average altitude of 850 to 900 meters, all in the province of Burgos and Valladolid. The grapes come from old vines between 35 and 100 years old.

  • Maturation: Aged in French oak barrels for 428 days. 10% of the final blend underwent malolactic fermentation in the barrel.
