  • Soil: Terra Chama Reserva Red is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen and Tinta Roriz, from vines over 20 years old. It is aged for 14 months in stainless steel vats, followed by another 15 months in the bottle. It is a ruby-colored wine with aromas of red fruits, ripe plums and hints of wild flowers. On the palate, it is round with mature tannins and a long, persistent finish.
  • Winemaking: Grapes from 23-year-old vines. Hand-picked into 20kg boxes. Grape selection on a sorting table. Crushing with total destemming and pre-fermentation skin maceration in stainless steel vats at a low temperature for a period of 48 hours. Fermentation at a temperature of 25ºC for a period of 10 days. Aged in stainless steel vats for a period of 14 months, followed by aging in bottles for 15 months.
  • Tasting Notes: Ruby color. Aroma of red fruits and ripe plums, with subtle notes of wild flowers. Round on the palate with mature tannins. Long and persistent finish.
  • Maturation: Aged in stainless steel vats for a period of 14 months, followed by aging in bottles for an additional 15 months.
