Somnium Granito Branco is a light but creamy wine, very crisp, tense and full of shine. It has very light smoky notes from the barrel and the citrus fruit “explodes” in the mouth, with a super lemony profile, where dried herbs and tea leaves can also be felt.

  • Soil: The grapes come from old vines in the municipality of Alijó. The vines are a mixture of white and red grapes. Only the white grapes are used for vinification.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were not destemmed and lightly crushed in a vertical press. The resulting must was decanted into stainless steel vats for 24 hours at 10°C, and then transferred to used 225-litre French oak barrels, where it fermented for 25 days at controlled temperatures between 14°C and 18°C. Aged in barrels for approximately 12 months, without battonage, followed by 2 years in the bottle.
  • Tasting Notes: Light but creamy, very crispy, tense, full of shine. It has very light smoky notes from the barrel and the citrus fruit “explodes” in the mouth, in a super lemony profile, where you can also feel the dried herb and tea leaf.
  • Maturation: Aged in barrels for approximately 12 months, without battonage, followed by 2 years in the bottle.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 12ºC
