Herdade do Perú Private Collection White is a bright greenish-straw colored wine. On the nose, there are lots of white flowers and white plums with notes of vanilla, spices and graphite from the barrel aging. On the palate, there is a lot of freshness with hints of wood present, but well balanced with the white fruit and acidity characteristic of Arinto. The finish is long and characteristic of the region, with a lot of density and acidity.

  • Soil:
  • Winemaking: Grapes harvested by hand from plots previously selected for this wine during the month of September. Grapes selected in the field and in the winery. Cold skin contact for 12 hours to extract aromas and improve the harmony of the must. Soft pressing of the must and cold decantation for 48 hours.
  • Tasting Notes: Wine with a bright greenish-straw color. On the nose, lots of white flowers and white plums, with notes of vanilla, spices and graphite from the barrel aging. On the palate, it is very fresh with notes of wood present, but well balanced with the white fruit and acidity characteristic of Arinto. A long finish, characteristic of the region, with a lot of density and acidity.
  • Maturation: Aged in used and new 225L French oak barrels with temperature control for 30 days. Aged in the same barrels with "Bâttonage" for 1 year.
  • Serve: Between 9ºC and 11ºC
  • Winemaker: Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes
